| Description of the problem | The cruise control is hypervariable - when combined with a lane warning system, it dropped us out of cruise (at 70mph) when passing a large truck in the right lane. Very unsafe to be all of a sudden in the left lane slowing down when we we trying to speed past the 18-wheeler. Dealer said the 'sensitivity' of the lane warning system 'caught the truck creeping close' to the line -- we didn't see that at all. Also, the lane warning system is quite intermittent - only about 2 out of 5 times does the right hand warning signal something (like drifting near a shoulder) as designed. |
