| Description of the problem | Leaky compressor and discharge hose within 4 years, suggesting defective design/manufacturing, possibly due to transition to 1234yf refrigerant. This refrigerant being flammable and more hazardous & flammable than the previous r-134a refrigerant, this leakage represents a possible safety hazard (not just comfort) is worth noting that this issue appeared so widespread, that one dealer suggested a 3 week minimum wait for the parts. Honda has already issued an a/c extended warranty for a similar vehicle (honda civic) |
