| Description of the problem | Gasoline getting into the oil. Dipstick read in between "the lines" on level ground. Drove 1500 miles (approx.) during a vacation. Checked oil at our destination, on level ground, and the oil level was 1/4" to 3/8" above the full line on the dipstick and smelled of gasoline. I called honda and received a case number 08740888. Took car to dealer and was told honda is aware of the problem but doesn't know what to do about it. Also there is a recall in china for this very problem. The dealer did change the oil. |
