| Description of the problem | There is concern that the engine will seize while driving. When the vehicle is parked while checking the oil level, there is a strong gasoline odor from the engine oil level dip stick and the oil filler cap. Also the oil level seems to increase between oil changes. A sample of the oil was sent to oil analyzers inc at the last oil change by the owner. The report is attached. Note that the report indicates fuel dilution greater that 5% but in the comment section the is no noted engine wear metals found that is above normal. Honda north america was notified and case #09009335 was generated. The local honda dealership was notified by u. S. Postal service certified mail. This letter is attached. |
