| Description of the problem | I was driving in the rain on city streets with the wipers at one of the intermittent setting. Without warning, the wipers disengaged in the resting position - stopped working. I tried repeatedly to restart the wipers, turning them off/on, changing the intermittent settings, changing from intermittent to full speed, different speeds, etc. I even tried using the wiper fluid to see if that would engage the wipers again - nothing worked. I tried repeatedly over a 15 minute period with no results. Then i turned off the car, restarted it, and the wipers began working properly again.
