| Description of the problem | Bad vibration while the car is stopped in gear shakes the occupants. This vibration happens when the engine rpm falls to 500 to 550 on the tachometer. Honda refuses to do anything to fix the issue based on a fear of the epa and fuel economy ratings for the vehicle. Honda calls this a normal characteristic of the vehicle but our family currently owns 5 honda vehicles and this is the only on to exhibit this abnormal vibration characteristic. The vibration was not as pronounced until the cvt software update (recall) was performed on the vehicle. Honda has tried several things to remedy this vibration but has been unsuccessful. |
