| Description of the problem | I was test driving the subject car in question from a honda dealership (sport honda in silver spring, md). The car is certified pre-owned and during the test drive, we drove from the dealership to a nearby neighborhood. 5 minutes into the test drive within the neighborhood the brakes failed while we were driving at a relatively low speed (10-15 mph). More specifically, the brakes became very mushy and had to be depressed all the way to the floor in order to initiate braking. The following dash lights then became illuminated: tpms, traction control, and power steering. Upon returning the car to the dealership, the salesperson merely pointed out that the car is under warranty. No comment was made about how unsafe that situation was. |
