Description of the problem	While driving at 80 mph on a highway, the check engine light appeared and the vehicle decreased in speed to 50 mph on its own, although i never removed pressure from the accelerator pedal. The vehicle began to stall and pull back as if it were going to die. The vehicle did not respond when i depressed the accelerator pedal and did not increase speed. I exited the highway, applied the brakes, and came to a complete stop, but when i depressed the accelerator pedal once the traffic light turned green, the vehicle would not accelerate more than 20 mph. The check engine light remained on the entire time. I drove the vehicle to the nearest honda dealership. The dealership advised that the vehicle was giving misfire codes and they want to keep it overnight to run tests on it. The service advisor said that the vehicle may have gone into "limp" mode, what that is. This happened while the vehicle was in motion on a highway at 80 mph.
