Description of the problemI have lost power steering twice within an 11 day period due to rodent damage on the wiring (harness) of my vehicle. 1st time was on 10/10/2017 as i was backing down my driveway that requires a couple of sharp turns. Almost hit a wall. I missed 2 appts. And honda charged me $320 for the repair. 2nd time i had just started the engine and the same lsak warning lights came on and again no power steering. Honda didn't charge me for this repair. I have read and been told by honda folks that this is due to the recent use of soy in the wiring covers. Honda will not cover it under warranty or extended warranty and yet they sell a part no. Honda 4019-2317 rodent tape. I live in a rural area and this is my 4th honda and never had this problem before. I have the repair documents but don't know how to copy and send to you.
