| Description of the problem | I noticed that the vehicle would skate between 25-30 mph when accelerating. I took it to the closest honda dealership to have it looked at, hoping it was covered under my warranty. I was told that i had to pay $140 for them to just check my vehicle. Then they called me to tell me that it was caused by a software issue and honda had created an update, which i would have to pay to receive. That they would also have to flush my transmission fluid as part of this, and that the cost would be $499 with labor and taxes. I then also went ahead and had my oil changed and my brake fluid since it was recommended. Total bill was $703.
