| Description of the problem | Car shakes, jerks, and "judders" between 20 and 40mph under light acceleration. This was diagnosed by a honda dealership as being the issue addressed in honda technical service bulletin 15-086, but they will only fix it at their cost if you are still under warranty. Fixing, according to honda requires replacing the torque converter, updating the pcm, and replacing the transmission fluid. That's a pretty expensive bill for it being their software issue in the first place. Car also make a loud grinding noise on cold starts. Was informed this was an issue with the vtc actuator, but there was no fix for it. |
