| Description of the problem | I bought my crv in oct 2013. For the second winter the continues to be a loud grinding noise on first start of the day. It must be in the 20s or lower for the noise. This winter i had the dealer verify the problem. Said it's the vtc actuator and honda is working on it. Dealer agrees it is a defeat, but honda has no fix in place. Apparently replacing the vtc actuator will not fix the problem. Honda has been aware of the problem for at least 2 years now. Still no word. I thinking honda is just moving on and ignoring this problem. |
