| Description of the problem | At a 10 mph coast i start to accelerate slowly and the engine feels like it will stall. The car does not accelerate, the rpm does not change with movement of the accelerator pedal. I have to rock the pedal two to three times to get the engine to respond and accelerate with the traffic. This is a continuing problem that the dealer on 2 occasions has been unable to detect and correct i have come close to being hit from the rear twice. The honda dealer's explanation is the transmission is waiting for the computer to tell it to " up or downshift. " if that were the case, the rpm would change when the accelerator pedal is pressed . . |
