Description of the problem	Continuous problem with rear hatch not opening when cold outside; i live in mich. Thus have cold winters; no problem when warm. Problem started in 2017. I pd to have it replaced 12/28/17; fail again 12/10/18 dealer replaced as under warranty; failed again 12/10/19 out of warranty(frm 12/28/17)- so honda won't fix. In reviewing internet the latch problem is an issue with many other consumers when cold o/s. Filed a complaint with honda - then pandemic hit--just now reopening complaint- case#10291529- & as this appears to have been a constant complaint frm many others; honda has issued a service bulletin 16-063 to address the problem and supposedly have a redesigned latch. But it only cover vehicles under warranty. Thus i will have to pay to get the new improved part, when the original and replacement part were1 bad in the past.. Not being able to get into the rear/truck of your car is a safely hazard in the winter-rear truck is where you keep the spare tire, emerg. Supplies,etc. (& store items /groceries,luggage,etc )
