Description of the problem	Takata recall, not issued for my vehicle passenger side airbag per honda motor corp, honda has refused to replace my airbag at this time. Honda motor company has provided information that my passenger side air bag was made by takata corp. As of this posting honda informed me that the nhtsa has not issued a recall for my vehicles vin number. Honda knows the takata air bags are defective but will not replace my passenger side airbag which was made by takata corp, because the nhtsa has not issued a recall for my vin number of my vehicle. It took honda over 2 weeks and a call to their corporate office to find out who the manufacturer was of my passenger side airbag, and they said it was takata, but the nhtsa has not issued a recall for my vehicle. Now, the dealer could not tell me who manufactured the airbag nor could the 800 customer service number at honda, it took a phone call to corporate to find out, and yet the nhtsa has not issued a recall for my vehicles passenger side air bag based on vin number. I guess they will wait until somone gets hurt, and then issue a recall.
