| Component | AIR BAGS |

| Description of the problem | The driver side air bag symbol lights up by itself and goes off by itself; sometimes it remains on for as long as 15 mins or as short as few mins. It is random and not reproducible on demand. There's nothing one can do on a highway if the airbag fails to deploy as one would expect. When i called the dealer, they wanted a diagnostic fee of $125 to find the problem, and if its not reproducible on demand it may take several tries. This is a manufacturing / design defect and honda should own and resolve this issue, as its not even a part that's subject to wear - like the tires/brakes, etc. |
