Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 honda cr-v. The contact stated that while driving 1 mph, another vehicle traveling 35 mph crashed into the front passenger side of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy however, chemicals were seen coming from the dashboard and the footwell. Both the driver and passenger suffered lung irritation due to the air bag chemicals that emitted from the air bags. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for diagnosis where it was found that the air bags were active and should have deployed. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer and was awaiting the results of the inspection. The failure and current mileage was 106,000.
