Description of the problem	Takata recall- i rcvd the letter from honda in march 2016, stating parts would be available in summer 2016- called my dealer because i wasnt sure i would feel safe driving a deathtrap around (i decided i didn't want to leave my car at the dealership for months). Nothing was ever mentioned to me that i had to order the airbag myself. Nor does it state such in the letter. I called my dealer in the middle of summer 2016 since i had heard nothing- and of course no one answers in the service department. A couple weeks later my salesman calls to check in on me (courtesy call i suppose) and i mentioned the airbag. He transfers me to the service dept were i am informed i was supposed to order the airbag and that is why i have heard nothing. I have never dealt with a recall before but considering how serious this one is- why on earth wouldnt the parts just be shipped out and customers called to come in at their earliest convenience? Or at the least a courteous call be made months ago. I bought a honda because they are supposed to be reliable cars. Not sure i will ever buy one again after this mess. My dealership is keeler honda, 1111 troy schenectady rd, latham ny 12110.
