Description of the problem	While driving on the highway,rt 24, 7. 3 mile marker(?),some one cut us off and my wife was in the center lane and turned to the right. We got hit my another car in the rear or side. We ended up on the side of highway with the driver side on the ground. The passenger curtain air bags inflated along with other passenger side air bags. The only air bag to inflate on drivers side that was on the ground was the one in the steering column. We had to climb out of the passenger door,which was on the top now. The electrical system shorted (we smelled smoke) and we could not open the moon roof. Why didn't the curtain air bags inflate on the drivers side? This side of the car was laying on the ground. The drivers door was against the ground. Is there a problem with the side curtain air bags. My grand children were in the car at the time and seem to be ok. My wife hit her head,with bruises on left side on body and i received a bad cut on my left hand. My left shoulder hurts to. Again,why didn't the drivers side curtain air bag deploy????
