| Description of the problem | Approx 6 months ago a crack started in the front windshield on the passenger side. It started from the top rubber gasket & was in alignment with the window visor holder. There were no visible signs of damage on the outside of the car. We had the window replaced by safelight window repair company. Now we have a crack starting on the drivers side front windshield & running down from the top rubber gasket & also in direct alignment with the visor holder. A considerable amount of pressure must be applied to seat the visor back into the holder. Both cracks happened during highway travel with no obvious signs of damage by a rock, etc. Both times the visors had been turned to the side window to block the sun. |
