| Description of the problem | After three service attempts by the honda dealer to correct the car not tracking straight, i had a local alignment shop install rear camber adjusting kits. Car did not track straight, prior to installing the after-market kits, the car would continually drift left. The dealer now states the warranty is void because i put non-honda parts on the car. When i called the dealer parts department, they have the same after market rear camber kit. Searching customer complaints on sites such as edmound's, a significant number of customers complain about tire wear. My tires were wearing excessively and abnormal prior to correcting alignment on all four wheels. It appears that the 2008 honda cr-v has a manufacturer defect and later year cars do not when a search of customer complaints is done. |
