Description of the problem	The 2008 honda crv has issues with the power steering system. ~ i purchased my car new car, and recently brought my car into the dealer for state inspection. I was told by hendricks honda, woodbridge, va that i have a leak in my rack & pinion which cannot be fixed. I have to replace the entire power steering/ rack&pinion systems with an alignment for a cost of over $1600. I asked whether this was a common problem for this year's model and didn't get a straight answer. Based on numerous reports here and on the web, it appears that this is a significant problem/defect with 2008 crvs and honda should recall the model. I also understand by reports folks have filed that this is potentially a safety hazard, possible fire hazard. Honda should be required to recall and correct the defect..
