| Description of the problem | This is the third winter with our 2007 honda cr-v and there is a huge design flaw affecting the proper functioning of the windshield wipers during precipitation in cold weather. The snow and ice builds up in the large well beneath the wiper blades, causing the wiper blades to get stuck on this snow and ice, as well as the frozen precipitation sticking to the wiper blades. We have to constantly stop, get out of the car and break up the ice and snow from the well and the wiper blades in order for them to function correctly and safely. It's outrageous that a car that can be purchased with 4wd, clearly meant to be driven in snowy areas, would have this severe design flaw! Honda really needs to address this flaw with a design solution to this problem that can be installed on this car! |
