| Description of the problem | For some time now the doors open and then immediately lock again when using remote keyless entry. But now occasionally the panic button goes off and the car honks and flashes and the vehicle is inoperable. This results in a safety hazard as the latest incident occurred with children in the vehicle with high temperatures and we were all essentially stranded until the car settled down. It is easy to imagine a much more serious scenario where the children are locked in the car and the car cannot be opened because the locks are inoperable and the car will not respond to deactivating the panic button. |
