| Description of the problem | I was driving and all of the sudden the car starting acting strange - acceleration was very weak, steering was heavy, and when i was stopped car would nearly stall. Engine light came on, which was alarming. I took car into honda dealer and after doing some research they said i needed a software update due to a glitch in the initial software and charged me $224 which i was not happy to pay. This is clearly a defect in their car software since i didn't do anything that would have affected their car software. It could have been very dangerous had the loss of acceleration occurred on the freeway, threatening my safety and the safety of others. |
