| Description of the problem | On 2010 january 04 at 15:00 i was driving west in my 2005 honda cr-v on the ny state thruway in the left lane, when at mile marker 233. 3 i received a head concussion from the side curtain airbag, which inflated but did not deflate. I was unconscious for some time, and i do not remember subsequent events. My car suffered extensive damage to the left front suspension, but no other people or vehicles were involved. The police arrived and arranged to have my car towed to a repair shop in oriskany, ny, and i was taken to a motel. Ten days later the repairs were completed, and the defective side curtain airbag was preserved by the repair shop. |
