Description of the problem | In early november, 2011 a camaro ran a red light, and our 2005 honda cr-v crashed into the camaro. Both of us were going about 30 mph. The front and driver side air bags all successfully deployed, however, the steering wheel airbag burst open and i got secondary burns to both my left and right wrists. The sleeves of my jacket-coat were fried stiff. The primary purpose of the airbag saved my life, but the malfunction of it bursting open, producing secondary burns, can probably be something that they can improve on. |
