| Description of the problem | I first heard a noise from the front of the car under the hood, and later i felt many metallic pieces banging inside the car and falling off, when i was driving on a city street. Later when i took it to the mechanics, i was told the air compressor was exploded, and some of the metallic pieces from the explosion partially cut my belt. The mechanics said it is necessary to replace the entire air compressor, condenser and belt, and do a complete flush of the system. The worst case, if some small pieces residue inside the system, it could hurt the engine. |
