| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 honda crv. While driving 2 mph in reverse, she hear a loud banging noise in the engine. Prior to the noise, the air conditioner functioned as if the heat was on. She turned the vehicle off for four and a half hours. She took the vehicle to a local repair shop in order to have the air conditioner repaired and was advised to take the vehicle to an authorized dealer. The dealer stated that she needed a compressor and air conditioner. The vehicle was repaired by the dealer who confirmed that the compressor had malfunctioned.
