| Description of the problem | Consumer states the heat shield that covers the catalytic converter is made of stainless steel. The four connecting bolts which are made of ordinary steel has corroded. As a result the shield fell off while driving and dragged on the road. All four bolts had rusted away. The dealer and manufacturer refused to replace it under the federal emissions warranty. *tt |
