| Description of the problem | Primary & transmission fluid is being pulled into the crank case. Resulted in complete transmission failure. Cause undetermined as the dealer indicated the seal was installed properly and no leaks or oil burning was found. Purchased with 1801 miles from dealer. Next primary oil service per harley at 10,000 miles, this failure happened overtime with no ability to detect and mileage is at approximately at 7800 miles. Harley noted "bad luck", dealer not sure if seal went bad because engine oil would go into primary, reverse of what happened. |
