| Description of the problem | There was no accident, but it was close. Simply put, the two rear view mirrors that come standard are useless! You can not see what is behind you. For about $400. 00 you can buy mirrors from harley davidson that let you see what's behind you. Two bikes have the useless mirrors; xg500 street, and xg750 street. The xg750a street rod has mirrors that are further out from the standard mirrors, so you can see what is behind you. I think harley davidson should have put the mirrors from the xg750a street rod on all of the xg750 street and xg500 street, for safety. The xg750 street and xg500 street, as they are now are dangerous, and someone is going to have a very bad accident because of those mirrors. . |
