Description of the problemI pulled out of my garage on my 2010 electra glide classic and when i arrived at the stop sign on the street at approx 10 mph i went to apply my front brake and found i could not move my front brake lever. Luckily my rear brake had worked and i was able to stop motorcycle before and damage occurred. There was no apparent issues with my brake system (no fluid leaks) so i called my hd dealer and they had told me my abs module had failed due to lack of changing my brake fluid and needs to be replaced. I have owned many vehicles with abs braking over the years, and continue to own abs braking vehicles, and have never had to, or required to change my brake fluid to prevent a catastrophic event. You would think that a motorcycle without brakes is an extremely hazardous event, and if harley davidson knew that if you did not replace the brake fluid every 2 years your brake system would fail, that they would be very clear in letting me know this both verbally when i purchased the bike, and with some kind of signage somewhere obvious on the bike to state that if you don't replace brake fluid your brakes would fail.
