| Description of the problem | This is pertaining to the fuel sending unit/fuel gauge on a 2007 vrscaw. Gauge started acting erratic at about 2000 miles. After fill would read fine and then about 3/4 to 1/2 tank i would slowly see the needle drop to empty and then raise back up to whatever it chose. Had sending unit replaced with what the current revision was at the time. Worked fine for about 2000 to 3000 miles and did the same thing. As of now, there is no new revision. This is a fuel gauge, something that vehicles have had for decades, this should not be a problem. However, the manufacturer doesn't seem to do anything about it. |
