Description of the problemWe had our 2006 ford freestar transmission replaced back in late 2009 due to water getting into the transmission. On feb 21, we brought it back in to find that our transmission has yet again got water in it!!! We are lucky that this falls under the power train warranty, but what is going to happen next year when we are bound to encounter this problem again. Ford tells us that we will have to pay for it ourselves. This is bs seeing as this is a recurring problem that they have yet corrected. If you initiate a complaint about a vehicle during your warranty timeline and they cannot remedy the problem, even after the warranty is up, then it should be on ford to correct it. Tell me, when do these motor companies have to take ownership for their short comings? When my ipod kept having issues, i did not have to keep paying to get the issue fixed, i received a brand new ipod!!! Motor companies should have stricter rules to follow seeing as we are putting lives at stake.
