| Description of the problem | The transmission in my 2005 ford freestar stopped working without wringing or prior indication that something was wrong. My wife backed out of the drive and then put the van in drive and it would not move forward. Also tried reverse and it no longer works either. This needs to be a recall based on what i am reviewing on several web sites. This type of repair (that could have been avoided with a better design) is costing approximately $2500 for each vehicle - with some owners experiencing this issue multiple times! |
