| Description of the problem | November of 2010 we were coming off of an exit ramp and the van died. No warning, no lights, not a thing. The transmission had been a little sluggish coming from 2nd to 3rd gear the day before but fine that day. Had to replace the transmission. July 2012. Transmission began to jerk when going into or out of any gear. Power train light kept coming on. Had to replace the transmission. 3600 and some change later, it still jerks coming out of 1st to 2nd. We now know that this is a common problem with the vehicle that ford knows about. *tt |
