| Description of the problem | I was taking my family to the beach for a day trip and one hour in to the ride on a major highway the transmission on my 2005 ford freestar stopped working out of no where! The engine revved up and i had no power to the wheels! I was able to get it off to the side of the road, but from there it would not move. No reverse no drive. This is a very unsafe situation, had i gone the way i was going to i would have been on a interstate which is 4 lanes and i wouldn't have had a way to get to safety! I've read that this is happening to allot of these vans! The public needs to know about this! |
