| Description of the problem | While driving to work today, my wife had just turned onto a highway, traveled about 1/4 mile and the van lost all motive power to the wheels. The engine was running, but no acceleration. She was able to safely navigate to the shoulder of the highway. We had the van towed to our local mechanic who said the transmission is damaged and needs to be rebuilt. The van is only 4 1/2 years old with 58k miles. |
