Description of the problem	While driving 30 mph my 2005 ford freestar van felt like it had slid into neutral. In fact the car was still in drive but would not go forward or reverse. It felt like it would not go into any gear. There was no previous "slipping, or lurching". I had to pay to have it towed to a transmission shop and have just been told that i will need another transmission and the torque converter was stripped. The van only has 65,000 miles on it. The mechanic is trying to find a rebuilt transmission with low miles, but low miles is what mine had.
