| Description of the problem | When slowing to make a left turn at a traffic light the van suddenly lost power. I found myself stuck in the intersection for several moments as i attempted shifting to neutral and back but there was no response. I narrowly avoided being hit by traffic coming from the other direction and was able to coast into the parking lot next to my office building. I contacted my ford dealer and had the van towed there for repair. The torque converter had failed and i had it replaced. |
