| Description of the problem | While driving in a residential area our 2004 ford freestar the vehicle suddenly lost all driver power. I had to coast to a safe spot on the side of the road. The vehicle could not be put into any gear and had to be towed. We are facing a $3200. 00 repair bill to have the transmission replaced. The vehicle has been well maintained and had less than 80,000 miles logged. The vehicle had recently been in for the 70,000 mile check-up, at which no problems were detected. |
