| Description of the problem | This weekend, we were driving the 2004 ford freestar (w/ about 75,000 miles), and the transmission completely failed without warning. We were able to coast to the side of the road safely, but this could have been very dangerous if there had been more traffic. The car had its annual safety inspection less than a month earlier, and no problems were found. |
