| Description of the problem | After leaving a family gathering on thanksgiving day we were driving home (my husband, 2 kids and i) when after stopping at a red light the car wouldn't accelerate, my husband tried to put it on reverse and and other gears but it would not move, all of this was happening in the middle of a 3 lines street with other cars honking at us. Because it was a holiday we have the car towed to our house first and to the dealer the next morning. To put a new transmission the dealer told us that it'll cost us $4390. After complaining to ford's customer service they agreed to let us pay $1293. |
