| Description of the problem | While driving my ford freestar the engine started to miss. After a short distance it died completely. Luckily, i was on a side road and able to pull to the side out of the traffic. The problem was the result of a manufacturing defect allowing water to leak into the engine compartment and then into the pcm destroying it. At 29,000 miles the pcm had to be replaced without any payment by ford. |
