| Description of the problem | Passenger side air bag light intermittently turns on and off when a person above the weight requirements is seated in the passenger seat. This can occur either when a person is shifting in the seat or when they are stationary. This has occurred multiple times with various passengers. There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to when it occurs. This is a serious concern of mine because if an accident occurred while the light is on, turning the airbag off, the result could be serious. September 5, 2005 was the most recent occurrence. *jb |
