| Description of the problem | Was speeding up to merge on the highway and the vehicle starting shake and vibrate violently. I slowed way down and pulled off on the shoulder, turned on my hazards and exited the truck. I did a visual inspection all around the truck and nothing appeared broken or damaged. I got back in and merged back on the highway and increased speed. The shaking and vibration was gone. I drove it the next day at highway speeds and there was no issues. Upon researching this issue, i found this was a common problem among ford super duty owners and its called the "ford death wobble". I contacted the ford customer care line and filed a complaint with ford. I will be contacting my local dealership too. |
