| Description of the problem | Had 5 incidents occur with "death wobble". Started at approximately 8500 miles at 65 mph. Had to slow vehicle to 55-60 mph to stop shaking. Had shaking occur at 65, 70, 75 and 80 mph. Hitting slight pavement bumps on roads/freeways and pavement to bridge transitions. Recorded one incident on video with passenger. Took vehicle in and steering damper was replaced with rancho brand due to back order of parts. Seems to only resolved issue temporary as the shaking is coming back again. Wife refuses to drive the truck now, had to invest in another safer vehicle due to this f250. Happened once with a trailer attached and nearly caused us to get rear ended by a semi on the freeway. |
