Description of the problem	On 12/14/19 at approximately 2:25 pm central time, we experienced the "death wobble" in our 2019 ford f-250 6. 2l v8 while driving south along i-35 in southern kansas by mile marker 31. 6, just north of the ks/ok state line. The air temperature outside was 39 degrees fahrenheit. The bed of the pickup (with tonneau cover) was empty and without load. The highway at that segment was in good condition, but there was a regular expansion joint across both lanes of the highway. We were traveling at a speed of 77 mph on the outside (right) lane when we crossed the joint. At that point, the "death wobble" began. The driver immediately disengaged the cruise control, gently applied the breaks, and attempted to move toward the right shoulder of the road. The wobble continued and did not cease until the vehicle came to a complete stop. After gather our bearings, we reentered traffic. We did not experience it again for the next 50 miles we traveled home. However, once entering oklahoma, where the highway is significantly in greater ill-repair, the driver continued with caution at a speed no greater than 70 mph and without cruise control.
