| Description of the problem | I was driving on the highway at 64 -66 mph when it went over an expansion joint in the road. The front end began to shake voilently and the steering wheel was shaking back and forth so hard i could barely gain control of the truck. I finally slowed down to about 20 mph and the shaking and sterring wheel shaking stopped. I was in the center lane and was almost rearended by 70 mile per hour traffic because of hitting the brakes so suddenly to try to maintain control of the truck. I had just bought the truck from the ford dealership and i turned around and we went directly back and had them put it into the shop to determine what repairs that were needed. The truck is still at the dealership waiting to be inspected by their mechanic and necessary repairs determined. |
